“Neon Village” was purchased for 20 ETH or $60,000.

Defunct crypto hedge fund 3AC Capital is now the unsuspecting owner of an NFT after a bid it placed nearly three years ago went through.

The wallet linked to 3AC had placed a 20 ETH bid on August 21, 2021 for “Neon Village,” an NFT that belongs to the “Ninja Village” collection by artist SeerLight.

Early Friday morning, the previous owner, which goes by the pseudonym “@anonymoux,” accepted 3AC’s bid. Anonymoux, who boasts a large collection of NFTs, had previously paid 100 ETH, or $360,000 for the NFT now in hands of 3AC.
