Introducing $DOOD: The Official Token of Doodles

The official token of Doodles, a thriving world-building collaborative, is $DOOD. Distinguished by its fascinating cartoons, short films, and collaborations with leading international brands, Doodles has been a pioneer in the decentralized creative movement. Doodles is creating a legacy with billions of views on many platforms, driven by its fervent audience.

The $DOOD Token Supply and Distribution

The total supply of $DOOD tokens is capped at 10 billion. The distribution focuses heavily on community involvement:

  • 30% for Doodles NFT owners.
  • 25% allocated to an ecosystem fund for development initiatives.
  • 17% for the project team.
  • 13% reserved for attracting new users.
  • 10% set aside for liquidity.
  • 5% for the company to support operations and growth.

Tokens for the development team and the company will be locked for one year, followed by a gradual unlock through a three-year vesting schedule.

Doodles announced plans to open a $DOOD bridge to Layer-2 Base after launching the token on Solana.The schedule and requirements for the airdrop, however, have not yet been made public. With a 24-hour trading volume of 3,099 ETH (about $8.34 million USD), this statement caused a lot of trading activity in the Doodles NFT collection.  Despite this surge, the collection’s floor price saw only a slight increase of 2.23%, now at 4.35 ETH.

By September 2022, the project had raised $54 million, with a $704 million valuation. Pharrell Williams was named Chief Brand Officer, which was a big change for Doodles. The project evolved from an NFT-focused venture into a media company with ambitions to redefine entertainment.
