2 Mins read

Coot Cats, the digital asset incubation studio and the parent company of the blue-chip Cool Cats non-fungible token collection, has announced its fourth annual art contest. The art contest is open to non-fungible token artists of all mediums. In this article, we shall explore this art contest in depth.

Cool Cats Launches Its Clontest 2024

In a May 24 blog post, the team behind Cool Cats confirmed launching Clontest 2024, its fourth annual art contest. The highly anticipated art contest is open to all digital artists of all mediums, and this year features the biggest prize pool ever! The art contest has gone live and will run for seven days.

Launched in July 2021, Cool Cats is a 9,999 randomly generated and stylistically curated non-fungible token collection on the Ethereum Blockchain. Cool Cat NFTs let holders participate in exclusive events, such as NFT claims, raffles, community giveaways, and more.

Each cat depicted within the NFT collection has its unique set of features, a combination of some of the hundreds of different traits in the collection. Trait combinations, including various body shapes, facial expressions, clothes and accessories, help to ensure that no two cats in the collection are the same.

A few months after launch, they gained massive success and adoption among crypto traders and non-fungible token collectors, leading to a frenzy of community involvement and trading activity. Since then, the Cool Cats team has launched other projects, which have also gained mainstream adoption among traders.

In February 2022, the Cool Cats launched the Adventurer’s Guild. The NFT project allowed collectors to earn its native social token, MILK, by completing quests with their Cool Cats NFTs. $MILK is a cryptocurrency token created using the ERC-20 protocol that can be exchanged for randomized prizes.

How Can NFT Artists Enter The Clontest 2024?

The Cool Cats’ fourth annual art contest, Clontest 2024, has gone live on its Alphabot app. The art contest requires NFT artists to reference at least four characters, including Milo, Ardi, Chugs, Blue, Jo, Sage, Kira, and Bones, and submit their entries via the official Clontest link.

During this art context, NFT artists may also include any amount of Cool Cats, Shadow Wolves, and SideKX NFTs that they own to increase their chances. Based on information from the Cool Cats team, the art contest will be judged on pure creativity. Cool Cats art contest will run for seven days until May 31. The fifteen top NFT artists and creators will each earn a free Shadow Wolf NFT collection.
