CEO of finance company Real Vision, Raoul Pal has revealed key insights into the rationale behind his XRP investments. The renowned financial market veteran has also provided details about the upcoming 2024 bull run and what it means for altcoins.
CEO of Real Vision’s XRP Investment Strategy
Raoul Pal, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Real Vision, a prominent financial media platform, recently appeared in an interview with Pro XRP Lawyer, John Deaton, which was broadcast on Deaton’s official YouTube channel, CryptoLawTV on December 13.
During the almost one-hour-long discussion, Pal provided key details about his XRP investment strategies and his opinions on the cryptocurrency. The Real Vision CEO revealed that his XRP investments were greatly influenced after a conversation with a friend who provided a different perspective on the cryptocurrency’s value.
Pal explained to Deaton that he had purchased a significant amount of XRP tokens after the court case between Ripple and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Earlier in December 2020, the US SEC filed a lawsuit against Ripple for allegedly raising over $1.3 billion In unregistered securities offerings by selling XRP. The court case which was headed by Judge Analisa Torres, had taken another turn after the US Judge ruled that programmatic sales of the token were not considered securities.
Pal revealed that he saw the court case as an opportunity to make a great investment, especially after the price of XRP plummeted and became greatly “discounted.” He also confirmed that he has been holding XRP tokens since his first investment and looks forward to seeing the value of the cryptocurrency skyrocket.

Raoul Pal Sheds Light On 2024 Altcoin Season
During the interview between Raoul Pal and John Deaton, the Real Vision CEO disclosed his thoughts on the potential impact of the Bitcoin bull run on several major Altcoins. When asked by Deaton if tokens like XRP or Ethereum would ever decouple from the Bitcoin cycle, Pal responded with an abrupt “No,” before providing key reasons for his prediction.
Pal revealed that the Bitcoin cycle was the “macrocycle” and it usually led the altcoin market. He explained that as the risks associated with Bitcoin investments decline significantly amid bullish sentiments, it would signal the arrival of the alt season.
“All assets are going up and down in this four-year cycle, as the economy and our interest rates,” Pal stated. He added further added; “We are transitioning currently from macro crypto spring to macro crypto summer so that’s what’s known as the Alt season. And it starts with the high-quality tokens first and at the end of it in 2025, it kind of, everything goes out ridiculously.”
