Io.net and Nesa Extend Their Partnership to Support Decentralized AI

1 Mins read
  • Nesa and io.net enhance AI capabilities by supporting 48x A100 GPUs.
  • The partnership promotes decentralized AI, which opens up new revenue streams.

Since the partnership’s inception in April, layer-1 blockchain Nesa and decentralized computing network io.net have seen rapid progress in growing AI infrastructure. io.net has increased the supply of GPU resources, including 48x A100 GPUs, to accommodate the growing demand for AI inference on Nesa’s platform.

The partnership between compute network io.net and blockchain platform Nesa has grown dramatically since its inception in April. Io.net, which manages decentralized GPU clusters, has equipped Nesa with 48 Nvidia A100 GPUs, allowing the Layer-1 blockchain to integrate AI on-chain. This significantly improves Nesa’s capacity to process high-performance AI applications while maintaining transparency and security.

Nesa, a Web3 alternative to centralized AI platforms such as ChatGPT, uses io.net’s decentralized infrastructure to host over 1,000 AI models on the blockchain. This collaboration enables Nesa to provide trustless AI inference, ensuring privacy and reliability in decentralized applications. As AI usage on Nesa grows, the firms want to expand their GPU partnership even further.

Patrick Colangelo, Nesa’s Co-Founder and CEO, emphasized the importance of the partnership: “The support of io.net has been critical in scaling our AI inference capabilities, pushing the boundaries of decentralized AI.”

Fueling AI Innovation with High-Performance GPUs

Tausif Ahmed, io.net’s Vice President of Business Development, expressed enthusiasm for the developing collaboration: “It’s been a pleasure to contribute to Nesa’s growth while providing value to our own users. Together, we want to make high-performance computing resources more accessible to everyone.

The collaboration creates new revenue sources by allowing AI applications on Nesa to execute inference jobs on io.net’s strong machines. With the ongoing supply of GPUs, Nesa is moving forward with the training and development of its AI generation models, with the goal of decentralizing AI infrastructure.

The developing partnership between Nesa and io.net has the potential to play a critical role in the future of AI infrastructure, enabling secure and accessible AI development for consumers.
