Snoop Dogg introduces ‘Passport NFT’, a digital collectibles project offering access to his tour and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
The renowned American rapper Snoop Dogg is once again venturing into services offered by the non-fungible token (NFT) industry. He has now announced an exciting new initiative linked to his upcoming tour in the United States in July.
This new project is called “Passport NFT” and focuses on the release of unique collectibles that resemble posters, which will evolve along with Snoop’s tour stops. Each non-fungible token will showcase exclusive behind-the-scenes images and videos from each tour destination, providing immersive experiences to all fans who want to be part of this highly innovative product.
The project is driven by Snoop Dogg himself with the assistance of Transient Labs, a platform dedicated to building new services through custom smart contracts and non-fungible tokens.
Furthermore, Passport NFT holders will have the opportunity to access future benefits such as product releases, Snoop’s artistic launches, and the highly anticipated “Snoop Selects” collection. This last series comprises artwork created by different NFT artists and will be distributed for free to Passport NFT holders.
As mentioned earlier, the innovative technology behind the Snoop Dogg Passport NFTs was developed in collaboration with Transient Labs, a studio that aims to empower creators, projects, and the entire Web3 industry ecosystem.
It has been revealed that the value of these non-fungible assets will be 0.025 ETH, approximately equivalent to $42. Each Passport can be acquired using a credit card or through a crypto wallet on the official platform Snooppassport.xyz.
Let’s not forget that Snoop Dogg is no stranger to the Web3 ecosystem. In 2021, the American artist collaborated with the Boring Ape Yacht Club by acquiring a complete set.
Furthermore, in March 2022, he teamed up with BossLogic to launch an exclusive collection of non-fungible tokens called “SuperCuzz” on the MakersPlace platform. Later that year, in June, Snoop Dogg continued his NFT journey by partnering with Food Fighters Universe to introduce an NFT-themed dessert restaurant located in Los Angeles.
Lastly, and perhaps most notably, in August 2022, Snoop Dogg and Eminem merged their BAYC NFTs at the VMAs, captivating the audience with a performance inside the innovative metaverse “Otherside” by Yuga Labs, accompanied by a live show.
