Warner Bros Home Entertainment has confirmed its partnership with Eluvio, and both companies have announced the foray of “Superman: The Movie” into the Web3 world. This iconic superhero film, released in 1978 and featuring Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent, is now joining the NFT space.
Warner Bros Home Entertainment continues its journey into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with this new project featuring Superman. The renowned production company, in collaboration with Eluvio, has released different NFT-based packages featuring the classic 1978 film “Superman: The Movie,” offering an exciting experience for the Web3 industry.
Eluvio, a service for issuing products such as tickets and 4K video streaming, is backed by the Content Fabric blockchain. The aim, together with Warner Bros, is to represent multimedia files as non-fungible tokens, allowing fans to interact in new and exciting ways with the film.
Among the benefits that users can enjoy are access to special features, exclusive image galleries, and artist presentations created specifically by renowned DC artists.
It has also been announced that the Superman Web3 Movie Experience will be available in two different editions: standard and premium. The standard edition will be priced at $30 USD and will be available for one week (until June 16). The premium edition will cost $100 USD and will be available for only 24 hours (starting from June 9).
The premium collections will include three different variations represented as “Truth,” “Justice,” and “Hope.” Each variation will feature an illustration of Superman portrayed by the great actor Christopher Reeve and created by one of three talented DC artists: Ben Oliver, Bill Sienkiewicz, or Ivan Reiss.
A sneak peek of what to expect from The Superman Web3 Movie Experience is already available on the official project website, and the official purchase option will open on June 9 at 8:00 AM ET.
However, Warner Bros. Digital Collectibles also announced via their official Twitter account that holders of previous NFT collections such as DC3, LTR, and Bat Cowls will have the benefit of early access to both the premium and standard editions on Friday, June 8, at 8:00 AM ET and 5:00 AM PT.

The California-based American film production company has been actively working to develop various services in the Web3 industry. Their most recent collaboration was with NextHash to launch digital collectibles in NFT format inspired by sports. This project is for WB’s events division, Discovery Sports, and aims to release non-fungible tokens inspired by different sports disciplines that the brand has been promoting for over 10 years.
Another project that Warner Bros launched in June 2022 was in collaboration with Nifty’s to transform the renowned Looney Tunes franchise into multiple digital collectibles as non-fungible tokens.
Lastly, in December 2022, the film production company collaborated once again with Nifty’s and Daz 3D to create and release the NFT collection for the acclaimed series “Game of Thrones.”
