- The $25M funding promotes DePIN innovation and decentralized communication.
- Open to entrepreneurs and businesses with funding beginning at $5K.
World Mobile, a decentralized wireless network, and Tenity, a global leader in startup acceleration, have announced a $25 million Grant Program to accelerate innovation in the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) ecosystem. It is expected to catalyze a new wave of blockchain-driven solutions by integrating decentralized technology with the physical world.
Grants start from $5,000 under the program, available for both mature enterprises and budding entrepreneurs. The program covers all the key challenges from decentralization to blockchain adoption and governance while advancing connectivity in underserved regions.
Innovation with DePIN
Tenity boasts experience in supporting startups and sparking collaborations after working with gigantic companies like VISA, Microsoft, and Ripple. Present in six international hubs, with more than 250 corporate-startup partnerships at its count, Tenity will be the company to pick and support those projects that can carry out the goals of the World Mobile Chain (WMC).
According to Micky Watkins, CEO of World Mobile Group, By partnering with Tenity, we ensure that the Grant Program funds impactful projects and provides guidance for scalable innovation. We now can change the face of telecoms and extend connectivity.
This program follows the success of the World Mobile Chain, or WMC, a Layer 3 blockchain built specifically for DePIN, which recently launched its public testnet. WMC is positioning itself to attract the best of the best by providing a high-performance platform built specifically for innovation.
Andreas Iten, CEO of Tenity, added, “This initiative offers developers an extraordinary opportunity to push blockchain and decentralized infrastructure boundaries. We’re excited to guide these projects toward meaningful impact in the DePIN ecosystem.”
The grant focuses on areas such as decentralized communications, cross-chain interoperability, on-chain security, decentralized identity management, and tokenization of real-world assets.
At the programmatic foundation is an EVM-compatible Layer 3 blockchain developed on a Base, called the World Mobile Chain (WMC). It was designed for DePIN only, as a high-performance platform, and already found many notable projects that now join it in public testnet recently accomplished by WMC.
The $25M Grant Program is a major step toward creating the World Mobile fully decentralized, people-first telecom ecosystem. This unique platform offers the opportunity for innovators and investors to collaborate and create transformative blockchain solutions.
