BlockGames — a mobile-focused crypto-gaming app on a mission to solve data sharing and scalability challenges — is gaining recognition for launching an airdrop opening its soon-coming $BLOCK token.

Drawing parallels to Portal, BlockGames adopts a strategy reminiscent of the gaming platform’s $PORTAL token, which boasts a current market capitalization of $430.8 million, as per CoinGecko.

Inspired by Portal’s ‘Crystal Dash’ airdrop, BlockGames’ reward system enables participants to accrue points by tweeting about the new gaming project, which can later be exchanged for $BLOCK upon the token’s official debut.

Game to earn $BLOCK

BlockGames is a decentralized gaming community spanning multiple chains and platforms, offering players a unified experience via ‘Universal Player Profiles’, which has already amassed 500k users ahead of the $BLOCK token launch, as per a recent X post

The game aims to incentivize early adoption through its engagement farming mechanism. Soon, players will be able to accumulate $BLOCK tokens when interacting with BlockGames’ content. 

Upon delving into the BlockGames ecosystem, players are equipped with tailored services and tools to expand their player bases. Participation in the platform’s games earns $BLOCK tokens, while ‘Social Points’ accumulate through social interactions — both contribute to greater $BLOCK allocation via the game’s forthcoming ‘Token Generation Event’.

Though the launch date of $BLOCK remains undisclosed, the ongoing question remains: Will the token’s launch translate into a significant milestone like $PORTAL?
